Wanda June (Hamm) Golembiecki, 79, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Regional Hospital, on May 19, 2021 following an extended illness.

She was born in Brazil, Indiana on October 10, 1941, the daughter of Hubert and Rosa (Deeter) Hamm. She graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1959. Following high school, she worked at Columbia Records and Sunray DX in Terre Haute. She attended college at Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee. She met Scott Golembiecki while serving on a mission in Puerto Rico. They were married on August 2, 1975 at First Christian Church, in Brazil. While Scott was in seminary school at Ozark Christian College, Wanda worked as a Breakfast Cook, and later for the Census Bureau in Pittsburg, Kansas, while Scott was finishing his education degree. Once their son Jonathan was born, she stayed home to raise her family.

Wanda loved nature, always taking the time to watch a bird chirping or a squirrel climbing a tree in the front yard. She also enjoyed knitting, painting, drawing, crafting, and working word searches. Most of all, Wanda loved music, whether it was playing the piano and singing, or listening to hymns or other gospel music. She had a deep faith in her God, and served Him through her love of music as the pianist and choir director of Cloverland Church. She was a devoted wife and mother and most of all a devout Christian.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Rosa Hamm; a brother David Hamm; an infant sister Wilma Jean Hamm.

Survivors include her husband Scott Golembiecki; son Jonathan Golembiecki; a brother Paul Hamm of Tennessee as well as several extended family members.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 12pm until 2:00pm. Services will be held at the funeral home, on Saturday, at 2:00pm with Brother Doug Parkey officiating. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
