Sue Ann Hicks, 84, of Brazil, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 in her residence. She was born on October 12, 1936 in Brazil, IN, the daughter of Tom J. Brown and Vallie Mae (Walker) Brown.

Sue Ann was a 1954 graduate of Brazil High School. She attended Brazil First United Methodist Church for many years. Besides being a devoted homemaker, Sue Ann worked along side her husband, Bill, as a secretary with the former Hicks Auto Supply. She enjoyed shopping, reading, and being surrounded by her family and friends.

Sue Ann was preceded by her parents, Tom Brown and Vallie Mae Pittman; her loving husband of 49 years, William H. Hicks who passed away in 2006; and a brother, James T. Brown, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Troy Hicks and wife, Cindy of Brazil; her sister, Martha Whitaker of Brazil; her brother, Tony Pittman (Nona) of Brazil; a grandson, Mike Okulovich (Beth) of Avon, great-grandchildren, Cainan, Brevan, Jace and Sadie; and a great-great-granddaughter, Scarlett.

Visitation is private. Arrangements are under the direction of Lawson-Miller Chapel and Crematory, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil.
