William Joe Bailey, Sr., 82, of Terre Haute, passed away June 27, 2021 in Meadows Manor North. He was born in Terre Haute on May 9, 1939 to Merle James and Mildred Schimmel Bailey. William enjoyed coffee mornings at several places around town. He enjoyed camping, and would take his children to Hawthorn Park. He also enjoyed mushroom hunting. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Tammy Miller, and a brother, James Bailey. He is survived by his son, William Joe Bailey, Jr. (Ann), Sister Linda MCGovern, grandchild, Breanna Bailey, great grandson, Greyson Cole, special friend, Mike Chatlin, along with Tami Meyers, Teresa Bailey, Keith Bailey.

Cremation was chosen, Greiner Funeral Home, assisting.
