Dennis Earl Lawson Sr., 77, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away July 12, 2021. He was born, August 17, 1944, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Earl Lawson and Marjorie (DeLatte) Bennett. Dennis worked as a Machinist for International Paper. He attended school at St. Benedicts. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children Robbin Poore (Ron Jr.), Dennis Lawson Jr. (Beth), Bobbie Sue Skelton, Dana Pimentel, and Yvonne Lawson; grandchildren Michael Daugherty, Jamie Poore, Nick Lawson, Bailee Poore, Blaise Lawson, Robert Own Jr., Zeb Lawson, Sierra Moats, Trinity Deleon, Tayler Pimentel; great grandchildren Mason, Jaydon, Grayson, Naomi, and Nova; siblings Glenda Bays of West Terre Haute, Indiana, Paula Page of Georgia, and David Page of Fisher, Indiana; former wife Naomi Lawson-Nunley, and several nieces and nephews. In honoring Dennis’s wishes, cremation has been chosen, and a celebration of life will be at a later date. The family has entrusted Greiner Funeral Home with care and arrangements.
