Gerald L. “Jerry” Mills, 80, of Terre Haute passed away early Sunday morning, July 25, 2021. He was a Chemical Engineer having worked for Pitman-Moore, Inc. and retired from Jacobs Engineering. Jerry was born January 8, 1941 in Salisbury, MD to Clifton Gerald Mills and Beatrice Bennett Mills.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Jane Bullen Mills; a daughter, Kirsti Krieger of Roswell, GA; a son, Christopher Michael Mills (Susan) of Washington, DC; seven grandchildren, Kassandra, Bennett, Dillon, Mackenzie, Caty, Matt and Jack; four great-grandchildren; his brother, Jimmy Mills (Gloria) of Tennessee; dear family friend, Hilda Mills of Elizabeth City, NC; and cousin, Genie Walston (Kay) of Salisbury, MD.

Jerry was a graduate of Washington & Lee University and earned his chemical engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He was a member of the Noon Investment Club, enjoyed construction and remodeling projects and loved spending time with his family.
