Robert Wayne Head, 64, of Center Point, passed away on Saturday July 24, 2021 at I.U. Health University Hospital in Indianapolis with his children by his side. Robert was born on September 13, 1956 in Bedford, Indiana, the son of James P. and Mary F. (Perkins) Head.

Robert was a 1975 graduate of Clay City High School. After high school, he built trailers for Great Dane in Brazil. Robert liked to go mushroom hunting, fishing, bird watching and speaking and listening on his C.B. Radio.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Head.

Survivors include his sons, James Head of Cory, Indiana and Andrew Head of Center Point, Indiana; a daughter, Amanda Gilbert and husband, Andy of Lewis, Indiana; grandchildren, Ryan Head, Ashlee Head, Landon Swearingen, Kaitlynne Gilbert, Maddeline Gilbert, Rylie Head, Ilizabeth Gilbert, Abbigayle Gilbert and Owen Head.
