
Nicholas R. “Nicky” Steiner, 35, of Terre Haute, passed away unexpectedly in his residence on August 6, 2021. Nick was born in Terre Haute on August 7, 1985 to Ronald Steiner and Kathy Jean Fuelle Steiner. He attended Maryland Community Church. He was a 2003 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School, this is where he met the love of his life, and it was their love that produced three beautiful children, London Nicholas, Rome Alexander and Venice Christine. He was a graduate of Indiana State University obtaining a Master’s Degree in Special Education. He was a Behavioral Analyst and co-owner of X-treme Lazar Tag of Avon. Nicks family was his world. He enjoyed traveling and taking “adventures” with his family. Nick also enjoyed a good party. He will be remembered as a kind, loving, and generous man. He would have given the shirt off of his back for anyone in need. He had the best hugs and his smile lit up a room. Nick always said to “be in the moment and present in life” Most importantly he loved his wife, three young children and his family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joan Fuelle. He is survived by his wife and High School Sweetheart, Jessica Modesitt Steiner whom he married August 15, 2011. He is survived by two sons, London Nicholas Steiner and Rome Alexander Steiner. He is survived by one daughter, Venice Christine Steiner. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Ronald Steiner and Jennifer Steiner and his mother, Kathy Fuelle Steiner. He is survived by brothers; Ronald Alexander Steiner, Marcus William Steiner, Ryan Steiner, Caleb Higgins, Kyle Stewart and a sister, Lindsay Mendenhall. He is survived by his mother and father in-law, Gerry and Karen Larsen Modesitt. He is survived by his paternal grandmother in-law, Sondra Modesitt Rogers and his best friend and “brother”, Connor Modesitt. He is survived by a brother in-law Ryan Rippy (Ellie).Nick is also survived by a special uncle who was his best friend and “brother”, Chris Steiner, an aunt Lisa Steiner and a cousin Ian Steiner as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins that he loved dearly. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804 was entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made to Nicholas Steiner Memorial Fund, these contributions will be given directly to this children, contributions may also be made Autism Society of Indiana, 10255 Commerce Drive, Carmel, IN 46032.
