Rosemary Duling, 93, of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at The Wyndmoor. She was born on October 20, 1927 in Terre Haute, to Lonnie and Anna (Bennett) Wiram. She married Sherman Duling on May 5, 1948.
Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Pike of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Chris Marshall, Jon Marshall, Ben Marshall, Scott Marshall, and Annie Pike; a sister, Carolyn Latham; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sherman; son, Thomas Duling; grandson, William Duling; and siblings, Chester Wiram, Kenneth Wiram, William Wiram, Franklin Wiram, Jon Wiram, Hubert Wiram, and Virginia Guthrie.
Rosemary attended Garfield High School. She was a long-time, faithful member of Cross Tabernacle Church. A devout Christian, Sister Rosemary loved to serve the Lord. Hope and faith radiated from her smile. She was an eternal optimist, always remaining incredibly positive and upbeat. Sister Rosemary had a warm, caring nature. She loved children and babies and looked for any opportunity to dote on them. She enjoyed music and dancing. Rosemary was an excellent baker. Most of all, she loved her family and cherished every moment she spent with them.
A private funeral ceremony will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. John Lawson officiating. Private burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Park. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
