James Edward Loveland, 75, of Terre Haute, passed away September 5, 2021 in his home. James was born June 13, 1946 in Terre Haute, to Harry S. Loveland and Helen R. McGuire Loveland. He worked for the Laborers Union #204 as a laborer. James was a member of the Moose lodge, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He loved fishing, and watching old country and western movies. Loved to spend time outside, and he was very picky his grass being a certain length.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Troy Hicks, brother, Bill Loveland, and a sister, Rebecca Carter.

James is survived by his wife, Lucy Loveland, sons, James Loveland II, Douglas Loveland, Richard Loveland, and Jeremy Gunther, daugthers, Teresa Claypool, Melissa Hughes, Tonya Fulfer, and Telissa True, a sister, Jane Boughman, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
