Jozef T. Becking, 84, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 in his residence. He was born June 22, 1937 in Wierden, Holland to John Becking and Elizabeth Roeloffzen Becking.

Survivors include his children, John Becking (Jackie), Hennie Becking, and Kim Becking; grandchildren, Cody Becking, Anthony Becking, and Kylee Grimes; his beloved Trudi Butts; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eliana Becking; his parents; and his sisters.

Jozef was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran and was the owner and operator of Becking Remodeling Company. Jozef loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and liked the casinos of French Lick and playing the slot machines.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Ben Syberg officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with military honors by V.F.W. Post #972. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 1, 2021 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M.
