Lola L. Roberts, 66 of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Union Hospital. She was born in Vigo County on January 2, 1955 to Ben Edwards and Erma Helen Joyce Edwards.

Lola was a 1974 graduate of Terre Haute North High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Victor Roberts, on June 22, 1974. She was a cake decorator for Baesler’s Market and previously worked at Union Hospital as a housekeeping supervisor. She ran the Euchre Club at American Legion Post # 104 and the Marine Corps. She was an avid fisherman and gave her husband a run for his money when it came to catching fish. She loved everyone and never met a puppy that she couldn’t love on to give kisses.

Lola is survived by her husband Victor Roberts and their two daughters, Marjorie Eades (Kyle), and Samantha Thurston (Paul), as well as their grandchildren; Henry Lee Roberts, Jonathan K. Eades, Catherine Fulk, Gabriel Fulk, and Harlie Eades, as well as step-grandchildren; Caleb Ingle, Megan Knight, and Mallory Thurston, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, James Edwards I, and her sister, Meredith Sue Carpenter.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 6:00 PM, with Rev. Larry Lilly officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM in the funeral home.
