
Cathryn Ann Sinders, 94, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 in Terre Haute, Indiana. Cathryn was born to the late Cecil Wiggins and Lola (Nickey) Sharp on September 20, 1927.
Cathryn attended Clay City High School where she played the snare drum and was drum major of the band. After graduating from high school, Cathryn married the love of her life, Robert Sinders, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2016. Cathryn was a homemaker, a mother, and a grandmother. Spending time and taking care of her family was very important to her. She was a member of Staunton Methodist Church for over 50 years.
Cathryn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Charles Wiggins.
Cathryn is survived by her daughters, Nikki Fox and Terri Hardey (Richard), grandchildren, Chris Hardey (Lisa), Brad Hardey, Wendy Kreiger (Andrew), Josh Hardey (Sky), Shaun Hardey (Diandra), Michael Fox (Jennifer), Heather O’Neil (Joe), Ashley Fox-Light, and Patrick Fox, great grandchildren, Britnee Hardey, Lexi Hardey, Brayln Hardey, Kamryn Hardey, Devon Hardey, Brayden Kreiger, Kynsley Kreiger, River Hardey, Shiloh Hardey, Rowan Hardey, Alex Fox, Gabe Fox, Seb Fox, Hanna O’Neil, Collin O’Neil, Violet Light, and Lily Light, one great great granddaughter, Freya Purdue.
Cathryn’s wishes were to be cremated, with her cremated remains to be buried at a later date at Clearview Cemetery beside her husband.
