Billy Joe Ramsey, Sr., 70, loving husband, father, and grandfather, of Shepardsville, IN, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 in his residence.  He was born in Vigo County on July 31, 1951 to Roy Joseph Ramsey and Joann Berry Ramsey.

Bill was a Quality Supervisor for Geon/Poly1 and had also worked at CBS.  He enjoyed watching his grandchildren playing sports.

Bill is survived by his wife Pearl Slavens Ramsey, whom he married April 3, 1971, and by their two children; Billy Joe Ramsey, Jr. (Denise), and Teena Marie Feuquay (Kevin).  He is also survived by two sisters; Darlene Puller (Tim Love) and Karen Sharrer (Steve), and his grandchildren; Devin Ramsey, Caleb Ramsey, Brooke Stateler, Shelby Feuquay, Bryce Stateler, and Kale Feuquay, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as the mother who raised him, Rose Ilene Ramsey, an infant daughter, Christine Lynn Ramsey, a brother, John Michael Ramsey, and sister, Linda Kay Jancek.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Pleasantview Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
