Edward James Lindsey, Sr. 83, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, January 9th, 2022. Born to James R. Lindsey and Anna Frances Kaperak Lindsey. Graduated 1957 from Gerstmeyer High School. Retired from Local #157 Plumbers and Steamfitters. Survived By Joan Lindsey, wife of 64 years, daughters, Anna Kelsheimer (Gene), Joan Roark (Tim), Mary Hoole, and son Edward James Lindsey, Jr. (Tamara); grandchildren Chelsey Freeman, Lindsey Freeman, Casey Martin (Justin), Jesey Freeman, Ethan Kelsheimer; Jennifer Hurst (Kellen), John Michael Phegley, Joshua Phegley (Jessica), Kara Uselman (Eric), Ryan Lindsey, and step grandson, Logan Nees; as well as ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM, with Jim Scarbrough officiating. Burial will follow In Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Local # 157 Plumbers and Steamfitters Apprenticeship Program, in his memory.
