Robert “Bob” Joseph Peters, 64, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away January 15, 2022. He was born April 7, 1957, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Edward “Nick” Peters and Vivian J. (Gladson) Peters. He was a laborer, who held three union cards locally, with Teamsters, Laborers, and Operators union. Bob was known for his warm-hearted generosity as he would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He enjoyed spending time cruising with his son, Nick, to the farm. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Tammy (Hohenstein) Peters; children Chelsey Coad (Daniel), Angela Peters, Cody Peters, Nick Peters, Hannah Peters, Robert Lewis III, and Rachel Peters; grandchildren Edith, Cory, Colton, Cameron, and Kora; stepmom Debrah Kirk-Peters; siblings Sandra Heston, Betty Lou Ellinger (J.R.), and William Peters; step-siblings William Kirk (Amanda) and Angel Dean (Jimmy), friend and former spouse Donna Kelly, nephews and nieces Chad, Hank, William, Nicole, Erin, and Kurran. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharon Hensley. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 21, 2022, at 3:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, from 1:00p.m. until service time.
