Christina Jean Bedwell Lowe, 89 of West Terre Haute, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was born in Terre Haute on March 25, 1932 to John and Oma Allsup Bedwell.

Christina retired from ISU as a supervisor of housekeeping. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crochet. She was famous for her homemade chicken noodles, and biscuits and gravy by her family.

Christina is survived by three daughters; Dr. Melissa Lowe, Donna Marrs (Bill), and Dixie Stout (Gary), as well as her grandchildren; Billy Marrs (Suzanne), Brandon Marrs (Olivia), Bryan Marrs (Mandi), Blake Marrs, Brittany Hayes (Dave), and Breanna Crocker (Jarred), Gary Wayne Stout, Christal Williams (Ryan), Jessica Weir, Christina Stout, Jeremiah Stout, and David Stout. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald W. Lowe, a grandson, Hayden Stout, her brothers; James Bedwell (Vivian), John Bedwell, Jr. (Rosie), and Raymond Bedwell (Claudine), and by her sisters; Violet Moody (Earl), Sarah Waggoner (Emery), Eunice Wright (Frank), Catherine Goodman (Ben), and Bernice Bedwell.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen, with a private graveside service to be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
