Henry Rex Dickison, 85, passed away in Union Hospital on January 31, 2022. He was born on March 19, 1936 in Brazil, Indiana to Hugh Dickison and Florence Clark. Rex worked as a machine operator for almost 40 years. He loved playing all sports, eventually spending many years coaching and umpiring little league baseball. Rex enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sharing his passion for the outdoors with his family. Family was the center of his world. He was constantly driving to one of the kids games, birthday parties, or just to visit his family and friends.

Rex is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Phyllis Marie Dickison (d. 10/13/2002), and his 12 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by sons Roger Dickison (Kathy), Michael “Mike” Dickison (Marilyn), and Mark Dickison (Debbie). His treasured grandchildren are Jessica, Roger “RJ”, Cody, Conner, Justin, Matthew, Travis, and Conrad. His great-grandchildren are Aibreann, Mallorie, and Braxton.

Services for Rex will be on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 1 pm at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation will be from 11 am until service time at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Pastor Tim Henderson will officiate.
