Rosetta Marie (Grindle) Fagg, 88 of Terre Haute passed away of natural causes on February 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Terre Haute on January 31, 1934 to Aaron and Agnes (Hoke) Grindle. She was a hair stylist and owner of Coiffure Beauty Shop that was located next to her husband’s barber’s shop in 12 Points. She enjoyed going to yard sales, collecting recipes, cooking and canning, and hunting mushrooms. She was a member of Barbour Avenue United Methodist Church where she enjoyed praising her Lord and being with friends. She attended Fontanet High School and Long’s Beauty Academy. She married John (Jack) W. Fagg on October 28, 1950 and he preceded her in death on September 7, 2004, along with their baby daughter Tina Rose, and she is survived by her daughters, Pam (Joe) Hall, Brenda (Tex) Herald, all of Terre Haute, Sheila Gardner, of Tennessee. Grandkids, Christina McGovern of Terre Haute, Chet (Beth) Gardner, of Tennessee, Austin Shepard, of Terre Haute, Craig (Ashley) Hall, of Terre Haute, Jack Dale (Angie) Gardner, of Tennessee. Great Grandkids Adrian (Gwyn) Hall, Laurah (Tucker) McGovern, Emily (Brian) McGovern, Bailee Gardner, Jack Douglas Hall, Chet Gardner, Jr. Great-Great Grandkids June Hall, Damien Guzman, Norman Hall, adopted Grandkids Johnny (Rachel) Leslie, and Ryan Hovey all of Terre Haute, and brother Richard Grindle, of Terre Haute.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Glenna Forsythe, her caregiver, and Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
Family visitation will be at Barbour Avenue Church, 1401 Barbour Ave, Terre Haute, IN 47804, on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11:00. Family request that masks be worn. Burial will be Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton, IN. In lieu of flowers donation to Hospice of the Wabash Valley or Barbour Avenue United Methodist Church.
