James Lee Cannon, 70, of Terre Haute passed away February 3, 2022, in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Union Hospital. He was born January 14, 1952 in Terre Haute to Lewis and Betty Cannon. He worked and retired from Bemis after 35 years in the printing department. He was and his wife were members of the Cobblestone Executive Club where they played bingo. Family was his everything, and he was very passionate about supporting his wife’s quilting hobby. Quilting with his wife brought him much joy, and many friendships. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Debra Cannon (m. 8/30/1974), his son, Brian Cannon, half-brother, Rick Cannon (Carolyn), sister, Judy McCullough (Larry), and grandson, Easton Stonewell, along with longtime friends, Stan and Malinda Mains, and several nieces, and nephews. Services for James will be private. The family wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Visiting Nurses of the Wabash Valley.
