John A. “Jorge” Bowden, Jr., 62, of Terre Haute passed away early Saturday morning, February 5, 2022. John was born June 5, 1959 in Terre Haute to John A. Bowden, Sr. and Patricia Joan Thralls Bowden.

Survivors include his wife, Carla Sickles Bowden; four children, John A. Bowden III, April Bowden, Misty Parker and Krista English; his father, John A. Bowden, Sr.; two brothers, Bobby Bowden and Ricky Bowden; two sisters, Pamela Bowden Browne and Lois Bowden; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Joan Thralls Herrera; and two step-brothers, Lloyd and Rob Phillips.

John loved to ride his motorcycle with his wife and was a Volkswagen enthusiast.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Ric May officiating.
