Debra Mae “Debbie” Hayes, 62 of Trenton, OH and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 in her residence. She was born in Terre Haute on February 9, 1959 to William Cree and Marcella Cox Cree.

Debbie had a great smile and was contagiously funny.

Debbie is survived by her husband Randall Hayes and two sons, Jordan Michael Cree and Timothy John Hayes. She is also survived by three siblings; Tim Cree (Connie), Kelly Cree Anderson (Jay), and Bonnie Cree Walton, two step-sons Jack Austin Hayes (Ashley), and Shannon James Hayes (Ashli), as well as two grandchildren, Ivy and Silas, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Cody Randall Hayes.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, IN on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service in the funeral home. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen with burial of ashes in Dunlap Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, in her memory.
