
Michael was an amazing brother, uncle, and son. He loved working on vehicles, loved Ford cars and trucks, and watching football on Sundays with his stepfather, Dale. He was a kind and gentle soul who touched the lives of everyone he knew. He will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Loretta (Simmons) Patterson; and his father, Marion Pete Tarrh, Jr. He also is preceded in death by his nephew, Justin Compton.
Michael is survived by his stepfather, Dale Patterson of Marshall, IL.
He is also survived by his siblings: Cathy Tarrh (Fairbanks), Marion (Pete) Tarrh III (Fairbanks), Bobby Tarrh of Terre Haute, Michelle Tarrh (Terre Haute), Lynn White (Terre Haute), and Tonya Patterson (Terre Haute).
Mike is survived by several step-siblings: Teri Winemiller (Vincennes), Debbie Myles (Martinsville, IL), Dena Porter (Marshall, IL), Mike Patterson (Martinsville, IL), and Twila Fears (Terre Haute).
Mike is survived by several nieces and nephews: Bobby Tarrh, Jr. (Terre Haute), Billy (Candace) Tarrh (Terre Haute), April Tarrh (Iowa), Dustin Compton (Fairbanks), Tabatha White (Seelyville), Russell (Amanda) Greene (Terre Haute), and Devan Lavalle (Fairbanks).
He is survived by several great-nieces and nephews.
He is survived by two uncles: Jack Simmons (Terre Haute) and Tony (Lynn) Martin (Pence, IN).
He is survived by his best friend, Bill Robertson (Terre Haute) who was always there for him during his hardest times.
The funeral will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at Greiner Funeral Home from 11 am to 1 pm. There will be a graveside service immediately following at Grandview Cemetery.
