Richard Ernest “Dick” Pitts, 75 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in his residence. He was born in Vigo County on April 4, 1946 to Jesse James Pitts and Jewel Ida Shaffer Pitts.

Dick was a veteran of the United States Army and formerly worked at Snacks Cafe in West Terre Haute. He is survived by three brothers; William “Pete” Pitts, Jack Pitts, and Dean Pitts, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as several brothers and sisters.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen with no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
