Marilyn J. Bedwell, 90, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday February 27, 2022 Meadows Manor East. Marilyn was born in Terre Haute on Decemer 18, 1931 to Golden Roberts and Louise Rouch Roberts. Marilyn was a 1949 graduate of Wiley High School. She retired as Office Manager for Dr. Kipple and later worked at Hobby Lobby in the fabric department. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, making quilts and traveling. She was a former bowler and was a member of a Women’s Bowling League for many years. She was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout Leader when her children were growing up. She was an avid supporter of Terre Haute South Vigo High School Band and a member of the Booster Club at the School. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Roberts from El Paso, TX. She is survived by her husband Lyman C. Bedwell, one son, Gene Bedwell (Jackie) of Terre Haute, a daughter, Sharon Henley (Wendell) of Homestead, FL. She is survived by grandchildren; Mandy Wilkins (Matt), Gary Phillips (Wendy), Great Grandchildren; Savannah Wilkins, Eli Wilkins, Blake Phillips, Tiffany Phillips and Kaitlin Phillips. One great grandson, Jaxson Phillips. Services are Friday March 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Johnson will be officiating. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
