On March 1st 2022 Linda S Trout suddenly left this world to be with her late husband of 38 years. She was 58 years old. She left behind a large and loving family and will be dearly missed. She was an inspiration to all who knew her by overcoming many obstacles that came in her life. After three months of marriage Linda and her husband learned that they would soon have an addition to their family. Later that evening she would also learn that her husband had passed away from a vehicle accident caused by a bad ice storm that year. Widowed at the age of twenty one with a son on the way, Linda devoted the rest of her life to giving her new family the best life she could. Linda worked for the next several years at the Terre Haute facility of SonyDADC. It was here that she met some of her life long friends. These friends inspired and encouraged her to push herself to better her and her family by getting an education. As a single mother she enrolled into Indiana State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She later worked for and retired from AET in Terre Haute due to health reasons. In 2011 the third love of Linda’s life was born, her grandson Dylan Thomas Edward Trout. Linda and Dylan became so close that her family would affectionately refer to them as “Grandma and her sidekick sprinkles”.

Linda was greeted into heaven by her husband Thomas R Trout, life long friend Rebecca R Wallace, Mother-in-law Nelly S. Trout and Father-in-law Thomas P Trout. Sister-in-law Cindy Phillips. She left behind her mother Betty Weber, brother Gary Laycock and wife Virgina Laycock. Son Thomas R Trout Jr, wife Tiffany L Trout and grandson Dylan Trout. Her childhood best friend Candice Osburn. Many close friends such as Cheryl and William Miska, Dana and Kevin Hisle-Hakman, Joseph Code, and Viola Ladd and her cat Shabu. Sister-in-laws Jonie Ditto, Sally Joseph and husband David Joseph, Constance and Donald wilson and many nieces and nephews. Linda will be sorely missed and will be highly remembered by those who knew her.
