Brazil, In. – To give voters in Clay County a chance to learn more about the candidates and their qualifications in the upcoming Primary Election, The Brazil Times and WAMB are sponsoring a candidate forum. The event will begin at Noon, Saturday, April 16th at the Forest Park Pavilion in Brazil. All 4 Republican candidates running for Sheriff and the Republican candidates for County Auditor and County Council District 3 are invited. There are no contested races on the Democratic ticket locally. Each candidate will have up to 4 minutes to introduce them selves and explain why they would like to serve. They will also have time for a closing statement. The moderator will be Gretchen Stone, the Co-Editor of The Brazil Times. We will broadcast it live on WAMB The Breeze. DLC Media’s Dave Crooks will serve as the emcee.
