Charlotte Ann Dashiell, 81 of Marshall, IL, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in Union Hospital. She was born in Terre Haute on August 11, 1940 to Frank Coleman and Charlotte Shafer Coleman.

Charlotte was a founding member of the Optimist Club of Marshall as well as a founding member of the Marshall Autumn Fest. She sold real estate in Bradenton, FL before owning Court House Realty in Marshall, and was also former owner of Cline and Dashiell Insurance Agency.

Charlotte is survived by two sons, Mark A. Dashiell and Michael T. Dashiell (wife Deanna Orvis), as well as two sisters, Sue Boyer and Penny Low. She is also survived by five grandchildren; Jeremy Dashiell, Mallory Carver, Ericka McKillop, Michael C. Dashiell, and Taylor M. Dashiell, as well as ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Pamela Coleman, and her long-time companion C.D. Hammond.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM (eastern standard time), with burial to follow in Marshall Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM (eastern standard time), in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Senior Diners’ Club or the Optimist Club of Marshall, in her memory.
