Terry Cogar, 67, passed away unexpectedly May 16, 2021 at Union Hospital, while in remission, after a long battle to Cancer. Covid was still the devil’s advocate, so visiting was sadly limited at the time.

He was a hard working, Mr. Fix-it, until he became ill. He was employed for 18 years at Indiana Oxide/Metals and Additives. He had previously worked for the city of Terre Haute, Great Dane trailers and Jim Whites Auto Sales and U haul.

He is survived by wife of 38 years Tammy L. Hendricks. Children; Brian, Brandy and Jennifer Cogar, Amanda Hendricks Slater and D. Scott Hendricks. Grandchildren; Noah Cogar USMC, Kendall Rayne Slater, Grayson Mattox Slater and Monroe Noelle Slater. Siblings; Larry Cogar, Michael Pauley, Loren David Cogar & Jean Thurman. Terry was preceded in death by both parents, Sisters Juanita Colson and Dolly Cogar. Brothers Kenneth Cogar and Paule Pauley.

Terry loved to fish, play cards, cook out and spend time with friends and family. Terry was a huge Dale Earnhart Sr. fan and collector. Terry enjoyed life!

Terry was the WIND BENEATH MY WINGS and is terribly missed.

At Terry’s request, there will be no services, nor a Celebration of Life. Terry’s ashes will be carried home to Sugar Camp Wisconsin.
