Brittney Dawn Phillips (Halcomb), 37, passed away June 15, 2022 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Brittney was born to Karen and Robbin “Rob” Halcomb on January 16, 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Brittney graduated from Northview High School in 2003 where she played on the golf team all throughout high school. Brittney graduated from Indiana University with a degree in nursing. Brittney married Jeremy Lee Phillips, who preceded her in death in 2019. Together they had three children, Hunter, Kenadie, and Eli. Brittney enjoyed attending all of her children’s sporting events. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Brittney is preceded in death by her husband Jeremy, and her mother, Karen (Park) Halcomb, paternal grandparents, Russell and Dixie Halcomb, as well as her maternal grandfather, Fraitis Carter.
Brittney is survived by her three children, Hunter, Kenadie, and Eli Phillips, her father, Rob Halcomb, sister, Crystal Trackwell, maternal grandmother, Sue Carter, as well as her mother and father-in-law, Bill and Joyce Phillips, and many other extended family members.
A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, June 22nd from 4-7 P.M. at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 East National Avenue in Brazil. A memorial service will begin at 7 P.M. officiated by Pastor Lance Newton. On Thursday, June 23rd, a Celebration of Life will be held from 5-8 P.M. at the Mooresville Eagles Lodge, 451 Samuel Moore Parkway, Mooresville, Indiana 46158 for friends and family from the Mooresville and Indianapolis area.
