Nelda was born on July 25, 1942 to parents, Edna Peters- Marshall and Everett Marshall.  She is survived by her husband David L. McMIllen  and by her loving children:   Mike (Paula) Meehan, Terri  Ann Meehan and husband (Mike), Tony (Dilyah) Meehan, Jeff (Holly) Meehan, Fred (Kelly ) McMillen , David (Michelle) McMillen. Grandchildren: Brittany (James) Hunter, Brandon Meehan, Reed Notter, Kati Benefiel, Kaylie Meehan, Abigail Meehan, Bert (Stephanie) Gurchiek, John (Kara) Gurchiek, Victoria McMillen, Andrew McMillen, Cody McMillen and Shelby McMillen. Greatgrandchildren: Kade Jones, Eli Gurchiek, Olivia Gurchiek, Max Gurchiek, Madeline Gurchiek, Charolette Hunter.  As well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Naomi Downing, Bob Marshall and Jack Marshall.

Nelda graduated from Valley High School in 1960.  She was retired from Kroger after 18 Years of service.

We are thankful for her many friends, her lifetime friend Doris Hadley and special friend Debbie Dunkley.

We also want to thank Majestic Care of Deming for all of their care and compassion. Thank you to all who called her (Grandma) and especially Brandon Meehan for going above and beyond for Grandma Nelda.  She was a sweet and Loving soul throughout her life and now she is at rest with our Lord and Savior. She will be missed.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Saturday, July, 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Bert Gurchiek officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethesda Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service in the funeral home.
