Annie B. McDaniel, 77, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 in her home surrounded by family. She was born January 12, 1945 in Glasgow, Scotland to Thomas Thompson and Janet Thompson. Annie loved to play bingo with all of her friends and husband. She also enjoyed going to the casino. Some of her favorite memories were of the trips she took with her grandkids to Memphis, Nashville, and Las Vegas. Growing up in Scotland, she always remembered that it would rain often. She would watch and cheer for her favorite soccer team, The Glasgow Rangers. She also loved dancing. Every holiday she would look forward to playing card games at her daughter Sharon’s house. She would watch the game show network and get so involved with the games she would yell at the contestants. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Thompson, a sister, Janette Edgar, and a grandson, Thomas Dean McDaniel.

She is survived by her husband, George McDaniel (m. 9/2/1967), a son, Thomas McDaniel, a daughter, Sharon Hunter (Richie), brothers; Thomas Thompson (Margaret), and Robert Thompson both of Scotland, and a sister Isabelle, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation for Annie will be Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804 from 11 am to 1 pm followed by a burial in Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.greinerfuneralhome.com
