Eddie Leon Nevel 43 of Terre Haute went to be home with the Lord July 6th 2022 due to a heart problem. Eddie was born June 8th 1979 in Des Moines Iowa to Kathleen P (Nevel) Williams and Kenneth L Gay. Eddie is survived by one son Samuel Koester Jr of Champaign Illinois his mother and the dad that raised him Martin Williams of Terre Haute two brothers Michael Nevel (Laura also known as the warden as per Eddie) of Avera Georgia Martin  Williams II (Joel)of Martinsville Illinois. one step sister Crystal carrico, one brother by another mother William (BJ) Pine  (Ashley) one sister by another mother Heather pine all of Terre Haute. 3Aunts 5 Uncle’s Rhonda Harden (Maurice)  of Farmersburg Jimmie Conder (Bradley) of Terre Haute. Vickie Goodman(Clarence)of New Albany Kansas. Carroll Hawks. Mark Frakes all of Terre Haute and his best friend Cody Gail several nieces and nephews and cousins as well as other close friends. Eddie is proceeded in death by his father Kenneth L Gay Sr fraternal grandparents Shirley Reed (David) his maternal grandparents Jimmy L Nevel Eula Hawks (Waven) l fraternal grandmother Mary Linder.
Eddie graduated from Terre Haute North  in 1997. Eddie loved to do things for his friends and family he didn’t like to accept help from people he’d like to be needed by others a lot of people never had to ask for his help he usually just volunteered to help them. Eddie loved animals he also had a dog named chewy he recently found a kitten that was not weaned it is now 5 months old and doing good Eddie was twice married and divorced. I guess married life just didn’t agree with him .Lol.  Eddie will always be loved and missed by all that he encountered throughout his short life.

Celebration of life will be on June 11th 2022 at Deming Park from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m..in the Ouabache shelter.
