Clay County, In. – Brent Vaught, who was previously at Forest Park Elementary School in Brazil, will be the new principal at Clay City Elementary School. The appointment was made at Thursday’s meeting of the Clay Community Schools Board of Trustees.

Present with Vaught at the meeting were his wife, Joanna, and their two daughters. As a couple of the school board members noted: All three were wearing Clay City Elementary School colors. 

“Our entire family is excited” to be part of Clay City,” Vaught said. 

Superintendent Jeff Fritz and members of the school board congratulated new hires to the school corporation.
