Gary L. Wilguess, Sr., 75 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in his residence. He was born in Terre Haute on October 30, 1946 to Bert Wilguess and Betty J. Cuffle Wilguess.

Gary is survived by his wife Joyce Miller Wilguess, whom he married October 19, 1984. He is also survived by two daughters, Lisa VanGilder (Jerry) and Shonnie VanGilder (Russ), as well as two brothers, Jim Wilguess (Karen) and David Wilguess (Cheryl), and a sister, Cathy Beamer (Danny). He is also survived by a step-daughter Lora Davis (Bryan), and a step-son, Brad Donnelly, as well as 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Bert, his mother Betty, and a son, Gary.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the West Vigo Community Center, 127 W. Johnson Ave., West Terre Haute, IN on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
