Wabash Valley – Emergency Management Agencies in multiple counties throughout Indiana will receive a boost in funding after a recent Duke Energy Foundation announcement. A total of more than $175,000 will go out to support 47 local EMAs throughout Duke Energy’s customer region in the state. Representatives of Duke said the funding will support things like: Search and rescue K-9s Installation of tornado sirens, Volunteer training and more. Vigo County, Putnam County and Vermillion County. Grants of differing amnount were paid to counties across the state of Indiana.
