Delores Jean Sink, 77 passed away July 9, 2022 at Majestic Nursing Home in Terre Haute, IN. She was born February 25,1945 in Terre Haute, IN to Gerald Lawrence and Delores Dillingham Lawrence. She was a home maker to her six children. She loved life to the fullest. She enjoyed family gatherings and loved being a mom, grandma, and great grandma. She also enjoyed watching western movies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Sink, daughter Dorothy Shapland Philabaum. Granddaughter Kelly Davis. Siblings’ brothers Jerry Lawrence, Ricky Lawrence, Bradley Lawrence. Sisters Martha Parker and Bessie Grise. Nephews Jared Lawrence and Robbie Grise. As well as her niece Lorie Smith and a great nephew Paulie Hoffert Jr, and a great niece Sabrina Smith.
She is to be survived by her kids Michael Johnson, Joyce Dillingham, Mary Kay Linne, Tammy Davis, and Steve Shapland. As well as her sibling’ Jim Lawrence (Kim), CB Lawrence (Kim), and sisters Lena Mundell (Larry), Kathy Kelly (John), Ruby Smith, and Sherrie Bradburn (Ted). As well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also leaving behind the people who liked calling her Grandma Peanut Butter; her grandkids Dylon Davis, Howard Hylman, Kathleen Dillingham, C.J. Philabaum, Mary Davis, Quince Jr Dillingham, Matthew Linne, Seaira Linne, and April Dillingham. Delores was also a Great Grandma to two beautiful little girls Samantha and Baylee Dillingham (Fields).
Cremation was Chosen per Delores wishes; no services are scheduled. A celebration of life for Delores Sink (Jeannie) will be on Saturday Aug 20, 2022 at Nature Park on Maple Ave. It will be held from Noon to 5:00pm. Everyone is welcome to bring a covered dish.
