
George N. Nasser III, 51, of Clayton, Indiana passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022 at his residence. George was
born on March 10, 1971 in Terre Haute, Indiana to George N. Nasser II and Carol Cornelius Nasser. George was a
graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
George had a successful career in the auto industry in sales and sales management. He was very proud of his
career and worked hard to provide for his family. He was smart, driven, competitive, ambitious and had a gift with
people that contributed to his success.
George was an avid Colts and Cubs fan and enjoyed playing golf, camping, fishing, time on his boat, and listening to
music. He chose these activities because they allowed him to spend time with his family. George was an idea man
and a handyman and approached his many projects with an unrivaled level of energy and enthusiasm.
He was preceded in death by his father, George N. Nasser II, his paternal grandparents George and Ann Nasser, and
other beloved family members.
He is survived by his wiife CJ DuKate Nasser, mother Carol Nasser, daughters Chelsie Young (Matt) and Taylor
Cottrell (Jordan), son Josh Crowley, grandchildren Jack, Gracie, Lilly and Clint, grandmother Betty Cornelius, siblings
Karrum Nasser (April) and Theresa Ralston (Mike), nieces and nephews Caroline Lamkin (Heath), Adriana Heiber,
Claire Smillie (Nathan), Aubree Nasser, Grant Looper, Austin Nasser and Emily Looper, great-nephew Davis and
great-niece Holland. Other survivors include his godson Shane Hapenny, many beloved uncles, aunts, cousins and
friends.
A private Mass of Christian Burial has been held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a contribution be made to
a charity of your choice in George’s name. Greiner Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements. Online
