Clara Lee Parsons, formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Sept. 1, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN.
Clara was born Dec. 13, 1940 on a farm near Thorntown, IN., to Harold and Margaret (Bowen) Evans.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Lova Katherine Walker (Dennis); one granddaughter, Sara Lee Walker; two great-grandsons, Elija Suiters and Terry Tripp Jr.; and her sister, Patty Lou Yates.

She was preceded in death by her husband Michael R. Parsons; her parents; two sisters, Sharon Sue Maiden and Lova Kay Dye.

Clara was a library media specialist for the Vigo County School Corporation for 38 years.

She was a graduate of Indiana State University (1965, 1970, 1989) and Thorntown High School (1958).

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday Sept. 6th, 2022 at Roselawn Funeral Home from 11-1pm, with a service to follow at 1pm.

Clara will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park.
