$1.48-million Approved For The THFD Radios

Terre Haute, In. – The Terre Haute Fire Department went before the board of public works Monday for new radio funding. Saying outdated radio equipment is posting safety risks during emergencies. The board approved a $1.48-million financial agreement, for the department. Battalion Chief Scott Dalton told the board sometimes the current radios fail or aren’t audible during emergencies. Dalton says supply chain issues may impact the implementation timeline.
