Garryd Joseph Yager, 24, of Kingman, AZ and formerly of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022. He was born May 8, 1998 in Boca Raton, FL.

Survivors include his mother, Nancy Stroot Yager of Terre Haute; his father, Gary James Yager of Florida; two brothers, Gregory James Yager and Geoffrey John Yager; an uncle; several aunts; and many cousins.

Garryd was a graduate of Boca Raton High School where he was a proud member of the NJROTC, and attended college where he was awarded a place on the Dean’s List several times. He loved his family, friends and helping others. Garryd had a kind heart, a smile that could light up a room and wanted nothing more than to see other people happy. Garryd was much loved and will be greatly missed.

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 AM in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Burial services will follow at 11:30 AM in the Chapel at Calvary Cemetery with Fr. Ben Syberg officiating.
