Gene Ann passed away surrounded by her family. She had fought a long hard battle of 1653 days against her cancer. She had her prayer Warriors faithfully praying for her every day. She received numerous cards and letters that strengthened her and comforted her. She was a great Warrior and a great example to her doctor’s family and caregivers. She had many discussions with Jesus and she was ready for whatever his plans were for her.. She is survived by her husband Kim Maxwell of 43 years, 2 daughters Heather Stevens and Andrea Smith, 2 sons-in-law Jonathan and Joe . She was a proud Nana to Alicia, Raesha, Jakyla, Derrick, Jaden, Jhanaya, Jonathan Jr., Addison, Noah, Katelyn, and Max. Her parents Sandra Sartain and Joe Secor and her sister Kristi Michael, aunts, nephews, and great grandchildren and her lifelong friend Karen Mellon. A celebration of life will be on October 15, 2022, at noon, in Calvary Remple Church Fellowship Hall, 2100 North 6 1/2 Street, Terre Haute, Indiana.
