Linda Jane Laycock, 66, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday October 31, 2022 in Majestic Deming Park Health Care. Linda was born October 22, 1956 in Brazil, IN to Richard J.C. Vestal and Cecelia Welch Vestal Scaffer. Linda was a member of the Baptist Church and was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed quilting, travel, fishing and taking care of her flowers in her garden. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was a happy joyful person who loved to laugh. She as preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Christiana Persinger and a brother, Rodney Vestal. She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Benton (Robert Brenton Jr.) of Terre Haute and a son, Clifford Myers Jr. of Terre Haute. She is survived by two brothers; Ronnie Vestal and Richard Vestal. She is survived by two grandchildren; Cheyenne Wycoff and Gage Brenton and four great grandchildren; Mason Wycoff, Maverick Wycoff, Maden Wycoff and Kingston Brenton. Graveside services are Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Clearview Cemetery with Terry Whitlock officiating. The family suggests in lieu of flowers the contributions be made to the Alzhheimers Association Alzheimer’s Association | Donate to Fight Alzheimer’s Disease .
