Robert Joseph Shepard, “Bobby”, 59, went to join the Lord on Friday, October 28th, 2022. He was born January 28th 1963 Delmer H. and Imogene L. (Jeffers) Shepard in Terre Haute, IN. He loved to watch football, especially the Indianapolis Colts, and NASCAR racing. Dale Earnhardt being his favorite driver. He liked riding his bike, fixing electronics, and going to thrift stores. Bobby found solace in helping people. If he had it and you needed it, it was yours. This was a trait He learned from our mother. He liked being a loner, but kept up with family. He was an easy going, laid back kind of man.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Charles Ostheimer, two nieces, Ashley Endress and Bridget Ostheimer, and one brother-in-law, Everett Stevens.

He is survived by one brother, Tom Shepard, four sisters, Margaret Stevens, Rebecca Smith, Helen Shepard, and RoseAnn Turner, 11 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, and his childhood friend Tom Atelski, as well as friends Kathy Mutchler and Jamie Wiegard. Bobby, you will be greatly missed, fly high with the angels and know we love you. Services will be held on Saturday November 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery.
