Mecca, In. – 5am November 10, 2022. Reports are coming in that the big schoolhouse in Mecca is on fire this morning. Early reports say the fire is huge and looks as if it could be a total loss.  Details are sketchy currently.  We hope to have more later.

The Parke County Sheriff’s Office advised that Coxville Rd going into Mecca from Highway 41 is closed at this time. You cannot get through! You will need to find an alternate route. Southwest Parke School has been advised also for their buses.
