Fred Eugene Cottom II, 66, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away November 14, 2022. He was born April 15, 1956, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Fred Eugene Cottom and Ellen Mae (Payne) Andis. Fred retired from the Indiana Department of Corrections as a Lead Captain. He is preceded in death by his parents. Fred is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda (Needham) Cottom; children Shane Cottom, Brooke Nicole White (Shawn), and Kate Elizabeth May (Daniel); grandchildren Olivia, Isabel, Layla, Benjamin, Alexander, Lillian, Lola, and Katelyn; sister April Wolaver (Lyle); sister-in-law Donna Needham; and niece Crystal Hlatko. Memorial services will be on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 2:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home. Steve Blades will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00p.m. until service time.
