
Jack Pierce, 72, of Farmersburg, Indiana, passed away November 8, 2022, in his home, with his loving family by his side. He was born February 6, 1950, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Earl Pierce and Ruby (Keegan) Pierce. Jack served in the United States Army. He was a member of Crossroad Baptist Church in Dennison, Illinois. He was owner and operator of SMR Equipment for fourteen years. And also Jack retired from Cadillac Products. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Debbie Pierce; daughter Jacqie Tryon (Chad); And a PIA daughter Tausha Beck; grandchildren Lea Tryon and Brent Tryon; sisters Joanne Danner (Dick), Judy Turpen (Denny), and Jeanna Leslie; sisters and brothers-in-law Cindy Hodges (Gill), Scott Strain (Connie), and Marjie Strain; several loved nieces and nephews; and his partner in crime, his K-9 companion Snickers. Jack is preceded in death by his parents and brothers -n-laws Paul Wilson, John Collins,Richard Leslie, Danny Strain, and Jeff Strain. His two grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a wonderful and amazing man, caring, kind and so helpful. He took you for what you were and valued you at that. He was very patriotic and loved his country. A celebration of life will be on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at 3:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home. Pastor Walter Huyck will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00p.m. until service time on Sunday.
