Charles Richard Mason, 84, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away November 23, 2022.  He was born November 2, 1938, in Marshall, Illinois to Richard Mason and Rosa (Carpenter) Mason.  Charles retired from Local #204.  He was a member of Southside Church of Christ.  He was a loving man that enjoyed his family and his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed train rides and fishing.  He is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Rosco Mason and Vivian Mason; and his grandchild Christa Mason.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years Christine (Switzer) Mason; his sons Rick Mason, Mike Mason (Kathy), and Greg Mason; grandchildren Matthew Mason, Jamie Henderson, and David Mason; great grandchildren Lucas, Jasmine, Brandon, Jillian, and Jeremiah; and brother Kenneth Mason.  Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 12:00p.m. in Southside Church of Christ, 4117 S 7th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47802.   Pastor Kenny Grubb will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00a.m. until service time.  Cremation will follow services. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Camp Wabashi, 3525 E Harlan Dr, Terre Haute, IN 47802.
