Kathleen “Kathy” Farr, 65, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday January 3, 2023 in Union Hospital surrounded by her family. Kathy was born in Terre Haute on December 8, 1957 to Warren Jenkins and Judith Ann Lucas Jenkins. Kathy was a 1977 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and was a member of the Marching Band. She was a member Pimento Eastern Star #516. Kathy attended Ivy Tech and had formerly worked for GTE, Ulrich Chemical and most recently and a job that she truly enjoyed was Pet Supplies Plus. She was an avid reader and enjoyed needlepoint. She and her husband were members of The Special Interest Car Club and the ACAC car club. She attended the Grand Indiana Tour 27 times and was the host on one occasion. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Jenkins and her Mother and Father in-law Edmund E. Farr and Erma L. Farr. She is survived by her husband, James Farr whom she married October 27, 1984. She is survived by her mother, Judith Jenkins of Terre Haute, a brother, Tony L. Jenkins (Margaret) of McHenry, IL. She is survived by a sister in-law, Cathy Perry of Terre Haute, two brother in-law’s; John Farr (Lisa) of Sullivan and Steve Farr (Carol) of Terre Haute. She is survived by nieces and a nephew; Jenna Edington (Tim), Kelcey Tonika (Frank), Benjamin Perry and Erika Bovair (Brendon). She is survived by one great niece, Eleanor Tonika. Services are scheduled for Tuesday January 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN. 47804. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Funeral Home. Eastern Star will conduct services 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday prior to services. Pastor Steve Newman will be officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or The American Heart Association.
