Carl J. Zablo, 84, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 in his residence with family by his side. He was born October 7, 1938 in Terre Haute to Mike Zablo and Betty Dellagiacomo Zablo.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Shirley Lowe Zablo; children, Craig Zablo (Doralya), Brent Zablo (Trish), Jill Shaw (Bobby), and Holly Gonzaga (Gerardo); 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Matt Burris.

Carl was the owner of Terre Haute Tent and Awning and was also a salesman for Coke. He was an avid sports fan. Carl enjoyed watching the Cardinals and the Colts. He attended First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Mark Grayless officiating. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to services from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday.
