Judy F. Roby, 81, of Indianapolis and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Monday evening, January 16, 2023. She owned and operated Roby Tax Services. Judy was born April 1, 1941 in Terre Haute to James McCready and Dorothy Watson McCready. Her husband, Paul Leonard Roby, preceded her in death in 2015.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Kevin Christian of Indianapolis; a step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Ted and Patricia Vernon of Oregon; step-granddaughter, Christina Christian; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Judy was a 1960 graduate of Garfield High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and St. Benedict Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 12:05 P.M., Friday, January 20, 2023 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, with Father Bob Showers, OFM Conv. officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 11:00 AM- 12:00 Noon in the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
